Extraction

Spills that require more attention. Wax, gum, paint, hard candy, and all other dried-on solids.We use combs/brushes/soaps that allow for the extraction of impossible spills while ensuring the fibers and colors of each area rug are not compromised. *The 'Extraction' service is a separate charge and does not include the 'Clean Means... Clean' service. While we do recommend pairing 'Clean Means... Clean' with 'Extraction' it is not required.

If you would like a RugWays service technician to move furniture that is placed on top of area rugs scheduled for pick-up and cleaning, a $25 fee per room will apply. This fee covers the moving of furniture during the pick-up process only and does not include furniture placement or movement during delivery or drop-off.

This fee is only charged when a RugWays technician is required to lift and move furniture inside the home to access and remove the rug(s).

RugWays does not charge for rolling, removing, or transporting rugs from rooms within the home.

**Terms and Conditions**
By using RugWays services, customers agree to our **Terms and Conditions**.

RugWays is **not responsible** for any pre-existing damage to area rugs prior to entering our care. This includes, but is not limited to: fire damage, loose or missing fibers, moth activity, animal activity, rips, tears, bleach stains, holes, punctures, or any other form of damage that alters the rug’s shape or integrity.

RugWays reserves the right to **decline service** if we believe our cleaning process may cause further harm to a rug. Customers acknowledge that all rugs have been **personally inspected** and are free of the damages listed above at the time of pickup.

If any issue arises during service, RugWays will **pause the cleaning process** and contact the customer. Services will only resume once the customer has been notified and has agreed to continue.

RugWays is not liable for any **lost, stolen, damaged, or forgotten rugs** that customers choose to leave unattended at the door or outside the designated pickup/drop-off location.

**Full payment** of the total service balance is required **prior to delivery or return** of any area rug.

Customers who schedule a delivery but are **not home at the agreed time** consent to RugWays leaving the rug at their front door. If a second delivery attempt is required, a **$20 delivery fee** may be charged and must be paid before the additional delivery is made.

RugWays does **not guarantee exact service durations**. While we strive for efficiency, cleaning times may vary based on rug size, fiber type, and soil level.

Customers who purchase **'Express' services** understand that oversized rugs, thick fibers, or heavily soiled rugs may require **additional time**. RugWays will maintain transparency and notify customers if extended service time is needed. In such cases, RugWays may **decline to offer 'Express' service** if the rug cannot meet the expedited timeline.

Customers have 15 days from the date of the first balance due notification to fulfill payment obligations. Failure to pay in full within this timeframe will result in the rug(s) being considered abandoned and becoming the sole property of RugWays LLC.

Customers unable to pay in full within 15 days agree to contact RugWays to arrange a payment plan, which may include additional fees. Any such arrangement will adjust the total balance due accordingly and area rug(s) will remain in the care of RugWays LLC until the balance owed has been fulfilled.

Customers agree to contact RugWays within 72 hours (3 days) of delivery or return if they experience a service issue or suspect damage occurred while the rug(s) was in RugWays’ care. After this period, it is understood that the customer is satisfied and that services met or exceeded expectations, with no further dispute.

RugWays reserves the right to decline refunds, discounts, or partial payments not made in full.

RugWays operates with 24/7 recorded video surveillance throughout the entire service process—from pickup (when rugs are placed into the van) to delivery/return. Time-stamped video may be used for dispute resolution and quality assurance.

All services (excluding Muscle) are performed at RugWays’ shop headquarters, which is a smoke-free and animal-free environment.

RugWays respects the privacy of customers and does not share personal information nor does RugWays share transaction details.

To ensure our services are meeting expectations, RugWays does reserve the right to take video/photo images of all area rugs at any time while a rug(s) in the care of RugWays. Such video/photo is the sole property of RugWays LLC and may be posted/shared/displayed and used for commercial advertisement, record keeping and or entertainment purposes. **RugWays will never include details or disclose the private information of to whom the area rug(s) belong to.**
